Michael Nunziata

As a Principal of 13th Floor Investments, Michael Nunziata serves as Division President of 13th Floor Homes, the company’s wholly-owned homebuilding subsidiary, where he is responsible for various aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and strategy. Mr. Nunziata has 18 years of direct experience in the real estate investment industry.

Under Mr. Nunziata’s leadership, 13th Floor Homes has grown to become one of South Florida’s top ten largest homebuilding companies. This success is largely attributed to his approach with parcel assemblage and infill development, enabling the company to deliver top quality new construction homes. One of his biggest achievements include the completion of Central Parc, a 253-home community in Tamarac, FL that sold out within two years of its official launch. In response to this high demand, 13th Floor Homes then developed two neighboring single-family communities, which together delivered 450 homes to middle-market and first-time buyers.

Prior to joining 13th Floor in 2009, Mr. Nunziata worked with Lane Capital Partners and its predecessor opportunity fund, Rossrock. Mr. Nunziata started his career with SunTrust Bank, as a portfolio manager in the commercial real estate finance group, where he worked on the origination and analysis of lending facilities. Mr. Nunziata holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in entrepreneurship from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in real estate from Columbia University.
